(Re-Announcement)
The Federal Democratic Republic of
Ethiopia through The Ministry of Water Resources (MoWR), invites
sealed bids from eligible bidders of Category WWDC 3 and above for
the drilling and construction of 510 deep and one piezometer
water wells with a depth water with a depth of 400m in Ada’a area.
You may collect a complete set of
bidding documents from the Ministry of Water Resources, Contract
Administration Department Room No. 212 on submission of a written
application and upon payment of non refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr
100.00 (One Hundred Birr) Bidders should a bide with the regulation
and rules of value added tax (VAT) specified by the government of
Ethiopia. Failure to do so might result in automatic rejection from
the bid.
Each Lot of bid must be accompanied
by bid security of no less than 50,000 Birr (Fifty Thousand Birr)
or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency from a
recognized domestic bank. Bidders can bid for one or two Lots and
bids shall be valid for a period of 120 calendar days.
Bidders shall submit five wax sealed
envelopes “Qualification application (Original and four copies)”,
“Bid (Original and four copies)” and “Bid security” separately and
should be sealed by an outer envelope.
Bids will be opened and read in the
presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who choose
to attend at the Ministry’s hall. The final bid submission and
opening date time will be within one month time starting from the
first date of announcement as specified in the bid document.

The MoWR reserves the right to reject
any part or all bids, if necessary.
