1. The
Amhara Rural Roads Authority invites all eligible bidders to submit
bid offer for the construction of:
Lot 1 Buya River Bridge
Lot 2 Almawoax River Bridge
Lot 3 Wedi Gemzo River Bridge
Lot 4 Shmel Gara & Tagru Wenz River Bridge
Which are located in Lot-1, Lot-3 &
Lot-4 in North Gonder, Lot-2 in Waghamira Administration Zone of the
Amhara Regional Government
2. To
be eligible for tendering of these bridges, the contractor must be
duly registered with the Ministry of Works and Urban Development, in
category Lot 1, Lot 2, Lot 3, Lot 4,5 & above with license
valid for the current fiscal year.
3. Tenders
are required to present certificate of Value Added Tax (VAT)
registration, Tax payer Identification Number (TIN) and also with
recent tax clearance from respective Inland Revenue Authority.
4. A
complete set of tendering documents may be purchased by interested,
eligible Tenders from our office addressed below on the submission
of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
200 (Two Hundred Birr) for each lot.
5. Duplicate
copies of tender with separate Technical Qualification Document
and Financial Proposal Document in wax-sealed envelopes, labeled
as Original and Copy shall be placed in the bid box
accompanied by a security bond (unconditional bank guarantee) and
amount specified in the tendering document (not less than 2 percent
of the tender price) on or before November 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at
the same address below.
6. Tender
will be opened on the same date at 2:30 p.m. in the premises of the
Authority in the presence of the Tenders or their authorized
representatives who choose to attend.
7. The
Amhara Rural Roads Authority reserves the right to reject any or all
tenders.
