Save the Children (UK) has been operational in Ethiopia since 1973 and has developed in to one of the largest in the country. Currently SC (UK) operates a programme that straddles Relief to Development with a wide range of programming three thematic areas of work i.e, Health /HIV-AIDS, Education and Hunger Reduction. The Programme works to ensure quality programming on the ground forms the basis upon which to advocate for greater change in policy and practice by key duty bearers at regional, national and global levels. All of SC (UK) Programme activities and many initiatives take place in SC (UK)’s three operational areas of the Amhara, Somali and Afar National Regional States, with the mission that to bring about immediate and lasting improvement to children’s lives worldwide.

SC(UK) Addis Ababa Office, invites interested suppliers for bid to supply 11MT of Edible Oil: whose trade registrations are valid for the year 2009, registered for VAT, and able to produce company profile with valid Product Certificates for the purpose assuring the quality and standards.

Tender document is made available at the Save the Children (UK) Office and bidders could collect documents by paying non refundable amount of Birr 50.00 beginning from 17th – 24th Sept 2009 and then tender documents and pro-forma invoices could be submitted in sealed envelopes to the following address before 4:00 p.m. on 30th Sept. 2009 and tender will be opened on 2nd Oct, 2009.
