General: The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) helps reduce poverty hunger and environmental degradation by enhancing animal husbandry in developing countries, work in partnerships and alliances with hundreds of organization in developed and developing countries including some of the finest universities and research institutions in the world. ILRI’s headquarters is in Nairobi, Kenya, with a second principal campus in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. ILRI employs about 700 staff from about 40 countries and is one of the 15 research centers sponsored by the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGISR) which comprise member countries, international organization and foundations.

The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) is inviting Wax-sealed necessary labor, material inputs (cement, bricks, sand, gravel, wood, etc…) and equipment for the construction and completion of Green House at Holetta Agricultural Research Center.

Set of bid documents can be obtained from ILRI procurement Office. Sealed bids with separate Technical and Financial proposals shall be submitted with 10(Ten) working days from the date of publication to their advertisement in “ The Monitor” and  “ Ethiopian Herald” in Wax-sealed envelope marked “Bid for Green House” to the following address:

And shall be publicly opened on the next working day at the above place at 10:00 hrs when the name of the bidders and amount of their bids will be declared. Bidders are advised to attend the opening of the bid.

International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive information. To advertise for new bids or to proceed and do the works otherwise as may be deemed to be for its best interest.
