Water Resources of Ethiopia Feasibility EIA/SEIA studies for the
Mandaya and Beko-Abo Multipurpose projects.
The Ministry of
Water Resources of Ethiopia (MoWR) has received grant from the
Government of Norway for full EIA/SEIA feasibility studies of the
Manadaya and Beko-Abo Multipurpose projects.
The Two projects
are expected to provide hydropower generation and improvements with
regards to flooding, siltation, irrigation and water conservation.
The projects shall therefore be studies as multi-purpose project and
focus on and undertake necessary studies in Egypt & Sudan to ensure
adequacy of the database in these respects.
