1.      The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, though Somali National Regional State of Water, Mine & Energy Resources Development Bureau has allocated funds towards the cost of the construction of the Warder town, Dikerlay and Gelassegley Water Supply projects and Muli town Rehabilitation and Expansion Works, which will be disbursed according to the Ethiopian Fiscal year.

2.      The Somali National Regional state of Water, Mines & Energy Resources Development Bureau (here in after referred to as the “EMPLOYER”), invites sealed bids GC 3 & above Contractors for the construction of Water Supply system of Warder Town and GC 6 & above for construction of the Dikerlay, Gelassoglye & Muli Water Supply Systems.

3.      All bidders should have a trade licenses and construction service certificate valid for 2002 and water construction certificate valid for 2002 from the Ministry of Water Resources.

4.      You may obtain further information in respect of the Bidding Dossier at the office of:

5.      You may collect a complete set of bidding Documents from the above Office on submission of a written application to the above upon payment of non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 300 for each site.

6.      All tenders must be accompanied by a security of 1% of the Bid amount. The bids security shall be payable on the demand to the employer, and must be an irrevocable bank guarantee, or a certified payment order (CPO) at the bidder option.

7.      Wax-sealed envelopes containing an or original and copy of offer and qualification documents should be deliver to the above office 30 calendar days starting the announcement of this invitation on the Ethiopia Head on or before 12:00 am and no liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

8.      The Somali National Regional State, Bureau of Water, Mines, Energy Resources, and Development reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
