1. This
bid invitation is open to all eligible contractors with grade GC/WC
-5 and above for Lot 1 & 2 and GC/WC-6 for lot 3.
2. Bidders
should present currently renewed trade license, VAT & TIN
registration certificates and license for water works construction
with their offer. All eligibility documents shall state the name of
the bidder.
3. Bidders
could participate for one or more lots.
4. Interested
eligible bidders could purchase the bidding documents from WRDB’s
office room no. 85 upon non-refundable payment of Birr 200 (Two
Hundred Only).
5. All
bids shall be in fixed price without any periodic or conditional
price adjustment.
6. If
the bidder has an alternative bid it shall be submitted in separate
envelope with its bid security bond. Alternative bids will be
considered and evaluated independently.
7. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be
accompanied by a bid security for the amount stated above in the
form of unconditional bank guarantee or CPO.
8. Bidding
proposals shall be sealed and delivered to Water Resource
Development Bureau at Bahir Dar on or before 2:00 p.m of the bid
closing date.
9. Bid
closing date shall be on March 01/2010 (22/06/2002) at 2:00 p.m.
10. Bids
will be opened at 3:00 p.m on the above mentioned date and address
in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to
attend.
