Impact Evaluation of Cooperative
Contribution to socio-economic development in Ethiopia.
1. Federal
Cooperative Agency /FCA wants to carryout a study of Impact
Evaluation of current Cooperative Movement in Ethiopia. The Agency
now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the consultancy
work, to submit two separate volumes of technical and financial
proposals for the study of the Impact Evaluation of current
Cooperative Movement in Ethiopia which could form the basis for
future negotiation and, ultimately, a contract between the bidder
and the Agency.
2. The
study which covers 9 region and 2 city administrations cooperative
promotion offices, selected cooperative unions and primary
cooperative societies and it is expected to be completed with in 120
days.
3. A
complete set of bidding documents prepared in English language may
be purchased by intended bidders on the submission of a written
application, together with renewed relevant license, vat
registration card issued by the relevant body to the address above
and upon payment of non-refundable fee of 50.00 (ETB Fifty) for
document. The method of payment will be in cash or cashier’s cheque.
4. Bids
must be delivered to the above office on or before
Feb. 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Bids
must be accompanied a bid security of not less than 1% (one percent)
of the id price in the form of CPO or bank guarantee.
5. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their legal
representatives who choose to attend on the same date at 10:30 a.m.
at the office of FCA.
6. The
firm will be selected in accordance with Government of Ethiopia;
determining procedures of public procurement and Establishing
Supervisory Agency Proclamation No. 430/2005 and Federal Government
Procurement Directive.

8. The
Agency reserve the right to reject the bid.
