contractors of category GC/BC class 5 (Five) and above with license
valid for the year.
1. The
FDRE Min. Transportation Authority Dire Dawa Branch invites
wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary
labor, materials and equipment for the construction, maintenance and
completion of Construction FENCE work.
2. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidder on the submission of a written application to the
FDRE Min. Transpiration Authority Dire Dawa Branch, Room No. 6 upon
payment of 500 Birr (Five Hundred). Additional sets of documents may
be purchased each by any interested eligible bidder on the
submission of a written application to the FDRE Min. Transportation
Authority Dire Dawa Branch, Room No.6 upon payment of 500 Birr (Five
Hundred). Additional sets of documents may be purchased each at the
same price.
3. Bidders
may obtain further information from, and inspect the bidding
documents at, the FDRE Min. Transportation Authority Dire Dawa
Branch, Tel. 11 15 80, P.O. Box 295.
4. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and all
bids must be accompanied by a bid security, 1% of the bid amount in
an acceptable form of insurance/CPO. The bid security shall be valid
for 30 days beyond the validity of the bid.
5. The
bid must be delivered to the FDRE Min. Transportation Authority Dire
Dawa Branch on or before 2:00 P.M. the 29 days from the announcement
day 2002 E.C.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
to attend at the same place at 9:00 A.M. the 30 days from the
announcement day 2002 E.C. at the office of The FDRE Min.
Transportation Authority Dire Dawa Branch.
7. The
construction of the works shall be completed within a maximum 150
calendar days from the commencement of the work.
8. The
Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
N.B. Bidders are
requested to fill all the necessary details in the schedule not
providing the required information’s in accordance to the enclosed
instruction to bidders may lead to disqualification.
