The Jimma
University invites wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders for the
Construction & Completion of Masonry Fencing & Guard Houses
Construction Works at Business & Economic College campus.
1. Eligible
bidders should have business license valid for current year, VAT
registration Certificate, Ministry of Works & Urban Development
Registration Certificate together with evidence from the tax
Authority for that obligation of paying tax is fulfilled.
2. Bid
documents and detail information can be obtained from Jimma
University main campus, Procurement and Property Administration Work
Process Team Office during office hours upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 300 (Three Hundred Birr).
3. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond amount of Birr 40,000 (Forty
Thousand Birr) furnished by certified cheque (C.P.O) issued by a
domestic Bank in the name of the Jimma University.
4. The
bidder shall seal the original, bid security and all copies of the
bid in inner envelope i.e. (Technical proposal, Financial offer and
Bid Security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner
envelope as “Original” and “Copies both for “The “Technical proposal
envelope and Financial Offer”. Copy of documents should be photocopy
of the original bid document.
5. Bid
bond and all eligibility /registration/certificates should be found
in the original technical envelope.
6. Bid
reply shall be put into the tender box prepared for this purpose at
Jimma University main campus,
Procurement and Property Administration Work Process Team office at
Jimma Town on or before June 25, 2010
G.C. (Sene 18, 2002) at 4:00 A.M. local time. Bids received after
the closing time will be automatically rejected.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their
representatives on the same date June 25, 2010 G.C. (Sene 18, 2002)
at 10:00 A.M. local time in the Jimma University Senate Hall.
8. Jimma University reserves the right to
reject all or parts of this bid.
