Nile Insurance Company (S.C.) invites all interested eligible bidders for printing the following items:

1.      Eligible bidders must have:

a)      Renewed Trade license, and

b)      VAT registration Certificate

2.      Eligible bidders can purchase the bid document against a non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (Hundred Birr) to participate.

3.      The bid document is available at the Company’s head Office, Human & Physical Resource Management Division (3^rd floor) starting from 24^th May 2010.

4.      Bidders shall have adequate experience for the production and/or supply of the prescribed items and be able to present a demonstrable performance history on the items.

5.      Bidders can compete for the supply of total quantity of all or partial items.

6.      Eligible bidders shall quote delivery time for each item

7.      Eligible bidders can either quote for all or partial items. Bidders shall clearly indicate the detailed unit price and total price for the goods. The tax element shall be included for each item. Prices must be quoted in Birr and payment mechanism shall be stated clearly.

8.      Bidders shall furnish a bid quarantee or security an amount of Birr 5,000 (Five Thousand Birr) in CPO issued by a recognized bank

9.      Eligible bidders should attach samples of each item.

11.  Samples are available at Business Development Services, Company’s Head Office (third floor).

12.  The bid will be opened by the buyer, in the presence of bidders or their representatives on 9^th June 2010 at 9:00 A.M. at the conference Room of Nile Insurance Company’s Head Office.

13.  Nile Insurance Company (S.C.) reserves the right to reject any or all the bid proposals.

14.  The bid document (consisting both technical and financial proposals) shall be delivered until 7^th June 2010 at 5:00 P.M. to:
