Spinning
Spinning has 41600 spindles at ring
frame and its attainable capacity is processing 7000 tons of cotton
to yield 6000 tons of yarn, for weaving consumption and market, per
year working in 3 shifts.
The
spinning section includes also the pre-spinning machineries such as
combers and roving frames, the post spinning machineries such as the
winding auto Conner, reeling and twisting machines
Weaving
Weaving department has total of 419 looms conversional & fully
automated type. This includes Versamat, Sulzer & Dornier. It has
annual designed capacity of 22 million square meters of fabrics
working in 3 shifts.
Processing
This
unit consists of continuous processing machineries which can wash,
dry, dye and/or print. The annual attainable capacity of processing
unit is 30 million square meters of fabrics & terry towel. The
garment division produces Bed sheet, Terry Towel & Pillow case.
About the
Future
Especially after the implantation of the
renovation project the production capacity & the technology will be
improved; so that the company can provide better products in quality,
improve delivery time & satisfy its customers, increase its production
volume and its market share locally & internationally.

larger proportion (60%) of the company's production volume is export
and 40% of its production is local
Market
share
The local market share of the
domestic supply of fabrics in the past 5 years is about 22% in
volume. The company supplies the domestic market with grey fabrics,
different types of bed sheet, terry towel, twills and yarns. The
company's share to the total (domestic production, legal & illegal
imports) supply of fabrics is about 6.8%..
Export
market
KTSC
is a
well experienced firm in export. It was the 1st company
to start export of grey & dyed fabrics in the history of the
country's textile export. Although there are a number of
constraints, the company is exporting grey fabrics, dyed fabrics,
terry towel and yarn to European (Italy, Switzerland and Australia)
and American markets. The company has got the award as the best
exporter in the sector in 2006/07 budget year
